BEHIND THE LENS

Back in 2011, while working at Walmart, I bought a small point-and-shoot camera on impulse. I had no plan, no purpose—just curiosity. I convinced a friend to model for me, uploaded the photos to Facebook, and within days, people were reaching out to book me. At the time I thought, I’m not a photographer. But over a decade later, that one purchase turned into my passion, career, and life’s calling.

Today, in 2025, I am an international wedding and celebrity photographer with more than 150 weddings captured around the world. Alongside my team, I pride myself on delivering quality, professional media that preserves life’s most precious moments with artistry and care.

My work has been published in major airports and featured in publications across the globe. Based in Arkansas, but truly global, I’ve had the privilege of traveling and capturing stories in places like New York, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Miami, New Orleans, Las Vegas, London, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Bali, Mexico, Peru, and The Bahamas, as well as across the United States and beyond.

I’ve collaborated with celebrities and brands, including:

  • Glorilla x Honda Battle of the Bands

  • Mimi Faust & Amina Buddafly (Love & Hip Hop)

  • Dutchess, Donna & Alex (VH1’s Black Ink Crew)

  • Kevin Gates, Lil Boosie, Lil Webbie

  • Tatyana Ali (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)

  • And many more.

My work has also taken me behind the scenes of Lifetime’s "Bring It," ESPN’s Universal Dance & Cheer Competitions, Disney World Parades, Mardi Gras Events, the Bayou Classic, Southern Heritage Classic, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Nationals, and the All-American Bowl on NBC.

What I love most is the satisfaction of creating memories that last for generations—moments that will be displayed, shared, and treasured forever. Every client is treated as if they’re my only client, because every story deserves my full attention.

Welcome to Cary Clayton Media. I can’t wait to get BEHIND THE LENS with you.
